Alternative motherhood made me a brand
My daughter’s boldness brought mine back.
I had Dani at 14, so I spent my teenage years focused on survival, school, motherhood & making money the safe way.
Then she got to 14 and started showing up fully as herself. Her alternative style, creativity and confidence reminded me of the girl I put on pause. We went viral, but the real breakthrough was realizing the parts we were taught to hide were the parts people connected to most.
